OPTION: In addition to the built-in array microphone there is a small miniboom microphone that is available for use with this product. This microphone is especially designed for use in high noise environments where picking up the voice extremely close to the speaker’s lips is desired. Examples would be in a car or motorhome where road noise is difficult. Another example would be a sporting event or in a noisy shop where the listener only needs to communicate with one other person. The microphone is placed around the ear and boom extends down the jaw line to the edge of the mouth. The pickup is an extremely small proximity microphone.
