MicroLink & MicroVox
Personal FM Systems
The MicroLink enables you to hear and understand in noisy
surroundings. The system consists of two parts: the HandyMic,
which functions as the microphone and transmitter, and an audio
shoe with an integrated receiver. The receiver is attached to the
hearing instrument with easy - CLICK- and the connection is made. The HandyMic now transmits the voice of the
speaker directly to the listener's hearing instrument. MicroLink
opens up a whole new world of hearing. When ordering please
indicate desired frequency channel from Channel
Chart.

Understanding Zoom Technology Advantages
Complete freedom of movement, in many situations.
Wide-Angle:
 |
The Wide-Angle function on the HandyMic picks up
sounds from all directions. It is ideal for
quiet rooms or meetings and discussions with a small
number of participants. With a small number of people,
the HandyMic can simply be placed in the middle of
the group. The voices are picked up from there and
transmitted to the user's hearing instruments. This
enables the hearing impaired participant to
understand what is said and take an active role in
the discussion. |
Zoom
 |
The Zoom Function effectively suppresses ambient
noise and enables the user to concentrate on two or
three speakers. In louder surroundings at home or at
parties, MicroLink enables understanding of several
people. In situations like this, the user holds the
HandyMic in his or her hand and points it in the
direction of the person speaking. |
Super-Zoom
 |
The Super-Zoom function is suitable for very
noisy surroundings. It focuses on a single speaker
and only has or her voice is transmitted clearly.
When the user wishes to concentrate on one person in
particular, the answer is to select Super-Zoom and
direct the HandyMic towards the speaker. Despite very
high levels of ambient noise, the listener can
understand the speaker. Interfering background noise
such as in restaurants and in traffic, or even wind
noise while outdoors, if effectively suppressed.
Another possibility is offered by the "partner
method." Here, the speaker holds the HandyMic or
simply places it into a shirt pocket. |
Audio Input
 |
The audio cable supplied as standard, connects
the HandyMic directly to all sound systems such as
radios, TV's or telephones. Thanks to MicroLink,
people with hearing impairment can enjoy TV and radio
programs at normal volume. The HandyMic is simply
placed near the loudspeaker or connected to the radio
or TV set using the audio cable. The same advantages
apply to telephone calls. If the telephone has a jack
for a headset, the audio cable can be used to connect
the telephone to the HandyMic for problem-free
understanding. |
