assistive device, along with your hearing aid, you are
able to intelligibly hear a speaker from across a
noise-filled room as though that person were standing just a foot away. Essentially, the COMPANION is a system which
creates a wireless FM sound link between a transmitter
worn by a speaker and a receiver worn by the person with
the hearing impairment, thus bypassing disturbing
background noises.

Our basic, high quality, FM system
from Comtek designed for personal use. This system gives
you the freedom to go wherever you like, and still
maintain communication. The basic system includes a
battery powered FM transmitter (PLS-M72L) and receiver
(PLS-PR72b), a lapel clip microphone (MIC-AT35) for use
with the transmitter, an monaural earphone assembly
(EAR-SM/N), one neckloop (NTC-102), two 9v Ni-MH
rechargeable batteries (BAT-NH9), dual unit charger
(BAT-NBC9/2C), two belt pouch cases for the transmitter
and receiver (CCS-P1) plus a system carrying case
(CCS-C11). This system is available in either one of
eight wide-band frequencies or one of forty-two

Wireless auditory assistance kit
with "Smart-Mic" plug-in environmental
microphone technology. This system will automatically
reduce the gain on the environmental microphone when
voice comes over the FM link. This allows the speaker's
voice, coming through the FM transmitter, to override
near field conversations picked up by the environmental microphone. This is great for allowing the
receiver wearer to monitor their own voice and pickup conversations close to them while still hearing the primary speaker.
System includes one PLS-M72L transmitter, MIC-AT35
lavaliere microphone, PLS-PR72b personal FM receiver with
"Smart-Mic" option and MIC-4020P plug-mount
